Philia Ann Sparlin

19 Feb 2011 – Curtis and Judy Blankenship Sparlin’s granddaughter, Philia Ann Sparlin and G. W. JOHNSON would have celebrated their 137th wedding anniversary today. I believe this was Philia first marriage, so I don’t have any more information on this Sparlin line. Does any one else have any more information?

Raymond Earl Sparlin

24 Dec 2010 - Oliver (Hatch) and Martha SPARLIN’s grandson, Raymond Earl Sparlin would have celebrated his 91st birthday on this Christmas Eve with an angel food cake, made by his baby sister, Edna Mae SPARLIN MASON. Raymond Earl Sparlin was born in the old SPARLIN home, Southwest of Seneca, Missouri to Centennial (Ten) and Bessie Dianthy SIMMONS SPARLIN. He married Arrah (Sally) Mae JOHNSON in Neosho, Missouri on 15 Aug 1947 and to this union they had three children, and six grandchildren, all of which are on Facebook. In 1952 Raymond, Arrah Mae and their first born son moved to Sacramento, California, where they bought their first and only home, where Arrah Mae still lives. Raymond Earl Sparlin is my “PoP” and he is greatly missed.

07 Sep 2010 - Who is Ethel L. SPARLIN? Today she would have celebrated her 95th birthday. All I know is that she was born 07 Sep 1915 in Missouri and died 31 May 1988 in Joplin, Jasper, Missouri. Could this be Ethel JOHNSON SPARLIN, wife of Clarence (Pat) Glenn SPARLIN, Sr., son of Walter and Ora Etta BENSON SPARLIN, Sr.?
